We wanted to find a way to bring our friends together on weekday nights without the hassle or time commitment of sports leagues. What else are you gonna do between Tahoe weekends?
Here's how it works:
1) assemble a team of 6 people or more 2) show up on a scheduled Thursday (you don't have to come every Thursday) to compete 3) at the end of the season, compete in the tournament to be declared "Flipcup Champion of San Francisco"
Registration:
Your team only need to register once in the entire season. Teams can also enter at any time during the season. You will accumulate points on Thursday nights to be seeded in the End of Season Tourney. So, it's in your best interest to show up often with your team to get more points to be the higher seed in the tourney and to PRACTICE your skills!

The Rules
If you are unfamiliar with the rules of Flip Cup, where have you been hiding? Seriously! Watch the video, copy and repeat.
Here are the basic rules:
This game is a relay race.
Teams consisting of 6 members line up on opposite sides of the table.
Each cup is filled about a quarter of the way (we’ll use the honors system here)
The person at the head of the table is considered the starter (order of players will be each team’s discretion).
Game will be started by the two starters from each team pounding their beer.
Once you pound your beer, you put the bottom of the cup on the edge of the table and attempt to flip it so that it lands up-side-down.
Once the cup has successfully landed up-side-down the next person on your team may then pick up their cup, pound their beer and try to flip it.
This happens until all players on a team have successfully flipped their cups. The team whose anchor player successfully flips their cup first is the winner of that game.
To advance to the next round, a team must win three out of five games (or in that round).
